Canning hotdogs anyone?

I've seen sausages being canned but I'm curious why aren't hotdogs canned? do they have different recipes? curious if anyone's got a good recipe to make them from scratch and then can them afterward? if this is even possible? Thanks!

yep, one of the reasons is bcs hot dogs have different recipes, also bcs it will have mushier texture after the intense heat processing of canning
